Collection: Meal Distribution

Gift meals to fasting worshippers and pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah. Popular during Ramadan for Iftar, and year-round on behalf of parents and loved ones. Arranged locally with written confirmation after distribution.

About gifting meals at the Haramain

Most of our meal orders run during Ramadan as Iftar boxes. The rest of the year we coordinate general meal distribution to those in need around the Haramain. The Sunnah encouragement to feed others, especially fasting people, is broad and well-documented.

How a meal gift works

You place the order and choose the city and quantity. We arrange the purchase and packing locally. For Ramadan, distribution happens before Maghrib at sensible locations around the Haram. Outside Ramadan, distribution happens during a window we communicate after the order is confirmed.

Who chooses it

The most common intentions we see are gifting on behalf of parents or deceased loved ones during Ramadan, Sadaqah Jariyah dedicated to a specific person, and family group orders where several people contribute to a larger Iftar distribution at once.

For operational details, see the Trust and Process page. For background on the kinds of intentions people set, see the article What is Sadaqah Jariyah and Why Does It Matter?.
